The topography of the site means that the exhibition cube is mainly inserted into the hill. The square hall is split into a central, full-height area and a three-sided gallery surrounding this with auxiliary rooms beneath it. Two stairways enable visitors to go around the gallery. The upper end of the hall continues seamlessly into the hill at the back – via a planted roof.
