Extension to Frankfurt Airport

The planned location of the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport is to the south of the previous airport building. Besides the plan for the actual terminal the development should also include plans for an organisational and town planning structure for the adjacent service and turnaround facilities. The linear arrangement of the various uses means both that later extensions are possible and that noise emissions from the runway towards the south are substantially reduced.
